Programme Overview - Programme on Sustainable Development Goals and Good Governance
This MDP is designed to empower policymakers, corporate leaders and development professionals with the knowledge and tools to integrate the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into governance frameworks. It emphasises the connection between good governance, policy effectiveness, and sustainable development through expert-led sessions, case studies, and interactive workshops.
Participants will learn how to align governance models with SDG targets, enhance transparency, foster stakeholder engagement, and measure impact—enabling them to drive inclusive and accountable development in their organisations and communities.

CONTENT
Day 1: Understanding SDGs and Governance Linkages
Introduction to 2030 Agenda & SDGs, role of governance, stakeholder engagement, multi-sector partnerships, and case studies of SDG-aligned governance models.
Day 2: Policy Implementation & Institutional Frameworks
SDG localization, transparency & accountability, data-driven governance, and workshop on designing SDG action plans.
Day 3: Innovation & Future Pathways
Digital tools, AI, blockchain in SDG tracking, financing sustainable development, leadership for change, and future action roadmap.
FACULTY & METHODOLOGY
Programme led by Dr. Ashok Kumar Patnaik, Professor CHRD, supported by ASCI’s esteemed faculty pool and experts from Civil Services, corporate sector, and legal & technical domains. Methodology includes theory, case-based learning, and actionable strategies.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
Designed for Junior, Middle, and Senior-Level Executives, Managers, IT / ITES professionals, and researchers interested in enhancing governance effectiveness using AI and digital technologies. Organisational sponsorship is essential.
VENUE
Fully residential programme. Participants will stay in air-conditioned single occupancy rooms. Campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled. Family accommodation is not available.
DURATION
The programme runs for 3 days from February 09 – 11, 2026. Participants should arrive a day before and may leave after conclusion.
PROGRAMME FEE
Residential Fee: Rs. 43,700/- (US $683 for foreigners) + 18% GST. Includes tuition, boarding & lodging, courseware, and campus facilities.
Non-Residential Fee: Rs. 37,700/- + 18% GST. Includes tuition, courseware, working lunch, and campus amenities.
10% discount for three or more participants from the same organisation if payment is credited before February 06, 2026.
MEDICAL INSURANCE
Participants must carry proof of medical insurance. Sponsoring organisation must endorse coverage for hospitalization.

CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION
A certificate will be awarded on successful completion of the programme.
